Punk Belt Buckles
Okay, let's get one thing straight. I don't care what he calls his show . . . Ashton Kutcher is not "punk." You want to know what punk is? Punk is The Clash. Punk is the Sex Pistols. Punk is the Manic Street Preachers. Well, sort of. Scissor Sisters? Not so much. Are you punk? Well, decide by the time you finish reading this. Here's the crash course.
Punk
was an anti-establishment movement in the music scene that burst upon the consciousness (whether they wanted it or not) of Great Britain in the late 1970s. Its proponents were dismissed as anarchists, but . . . well, they probably were. But hey, if you were cool in the '70s and you were an anarchist, you were probably a socialist, too.
Today, punk is one of the few long-lasting underground music movements that has not wrinkled up into its own sad establishment. Many people think that way of rock n' roll, with rap and hip hop as the new insurgents, and to a certain extent that view has some validity. Punk is still unassailable though, and thus it is with absolute punk credibility that I tell you that punk belt buckles are not hipster, poser, or anything lame of the sort. Punk
belt buckles
are punk. Why? Because they are in your face.
The number-one source for the best

is a site called 2BHipbuckles.com. My personal favorite is the Black with Silver Punk Rock Girl belt buckle. Of course, that's one example, and you'll have to figure out which one in their large collection hits the spot for you. Hey, if I told you what to get, it wouldn't be very freaking subversive, would it? Check out the website, or drop them a line by email at la2bhip@gmail.com or by phone at 610-421-4447.
